Membership
We welcome new members who wish to join our association and who subscribe to our purpose and aims. There are 4 categories of membership, designed to meet a variety of personal needs and circumstances. Most people join as Full Members or as Partner Members. Full Membership provides a range of benefits, including access to our Branch training and improvement program, hands-on learning sessions at the Branch apiary, membership of the Wiltshire BKA and the British BKA, monthly issues of the BKA Magazine, third party insurance for beekeeping risks, and insurance against the statutory destruction of colonies following notifiable diseases. Partner and Junior Members are able to enjoy most of these benefits, but for a reduced subscription fee because they do not need to pay the insurance premium.
Membership Prices – 2023/24
Subscriptions run from 1st October to 30th September each year

| Associate Member (for those interested in beekeeping but not currently keeping bees or for beekeepers who are a full BBKA member of another association) | £13.50 |
| Junior Member (under 18 when subscription taken out) | £9.50 |
Membership Application
To apply for membership of the West Wilts BKA please send an e-mail to Membership-WWBKA@outlook.com. You will receive a personalised link to an on-line form to fill in.
Existing members do not need to re-apply for membership using this form. Each year, before their membership expiry date, they will receive an e-mail reminder to renew their membership. The e-mail will contain a link to an on-line renewals form.
The membership fees for various classes of membership are set out on the form.
Please don’t forget to ensure that you take out adequate insurance for the number of colonies you expect to have in the next beekeeping season.
Payment is made by BACS – our payee details are set out on the membership form. Please provide your name as a reference when you make your payment – this will enable our Treasurer to link your membership application/renewal to your payment.
